Step 1#

In the first Step click on Start Option and then Control Panel Option in the Window 7.

Important Note: In the case of Small icons or Large icons view of the Control Panel, you will not see this link. Then you need to double-click on the User Accounts icon and proceed to Step 4.

Step 3# 

Click merely on the User Account link.

Note: You need some portable media before to proceed for create a password reset disk on this USB Flash drive or blank floppy disk and a floppy disk drive. 

You can not use any external hard drive, CD or DVD to create password reset disk for Windows 7.

Step 4#

Click the Create a reset disk password link option, on the left of the task pane.
Important Note: You will get a " No Drive" Warning message. IF so, you don't have a USB flash drive or the floppy disk connected. You will be required to do this before going ahead.

Step 5#

Click on Next option when the Wizard widow of the Forgotten Password appears.

Step 6#

if you want to create a password key disk in the following drive: drop down box, select the portable media drive to create a password reset disk for Windows 7 on.

Press next to continue.

Step 7#

In the disk or other media still in the drive, You need to type your current account password in the given text box and click Next option.

Step 8#

In this step on your chosen media window, 7 will create the password reset disk.

When the 100% shows indicator progress complete, then click next and click on finish option in the next window.

Step 9#

After the process, you can remove the floppy disk or flash drive from your PC. 
You can now remove the flash drive or floppy disk from your computer.

Mark with Lable the flash drive or disk "Windows 7 Password Reset" and keep it in a safe place.
