Step #1

Go to the VirtualBox website and click on Downloads.

Once finish the download, click the VirtualBox Exe file to start the installation.

If the Windows OS firewall protecting the executive file then just click Run on window “Open File – Security Warning.”

Click next on Window Oracle VM VirtualBox 5.1.12 Setup

Custom Setup to select the feature such as USB support, Network, Bridge, Host, Python, etc. The suggest leaving as default settings. Then choose the file location where Oracle VirtualBox will install the package. And then click Next.

  • Custom option to choose from below:
  • Create start menu entries
  • Create a shortcut on the desktop
  • Create a shortcut in the Quick Launch Bar
  • Register file associations
  • The suggestion is to leave all check as default for easy access and Click Next.

The Oracle VM VirtualBox step up will give you a warning message of the network interfaces. “Warning: Network Interfaces” just proceed with YES option as the increase will only reset the network connection. It is a temporary disconnection from the network but creating will create a separate network connection in VirtualBox.

Installation progress is showing status. It may take a while depending the desktop configuration.

Windows Security pop up window to click Install the Universal Serial Bus. It will support the USB type devices on VirtualBox.
