The Govt of Saudi Arabia passed a law in December to shut down all illegal business in the country and procedure started by City authorities in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and other cities after ending of the grace period. A campaign started for illegal expatriates to correct their status or leave the country within 90 Amnesty period

Shut down all the Illegal Businesses in KSA big cities.

Effects on Economy

It will close all kind of illicit business from 10 to 1000 of people, many small businesses ranging car mechanics to tailors and pop-up clothing stalls to grocery stores were being driven out of the residential area to improve the environment, traffic flow, and the security.

Small Private Companies

Those businesses especially started by small private companies with a staff of millions of foreigners, who make a group while oil was in a boom in KSA, They are using residential buildings as their offices to reduce their costs.

Shutdown Companies

According to Saudi Govt, those companies will close down which are unable to follow the legal procedures due to effect Oil prices, Saudi Finances, and their economy.

Expatriates Population in Riyadh

According to Saudi Arabia, official statistics that total population of the capital is 8 million in which 3.4 million are held by expatriates, which is a quarter of KSA's population.

Order of High Commission

The law passed by Capital's High Commission of Development, to work the development of Riyad to withdraw all the expatriates from their location where they are living and running their businesses.

End 90 Days Grace period

The Government announces a 90 days grace period for illegal leaves the before the end of three months period. Otherwise, the Municipality will withdraw from your place by force, cut off your electrical power and water supply services.
